The Australian Shepard
The Australian Shepard is an "All American Breed developed on ranches in the western part of the United States as a herding dog working Australian Sheep. Thus the name. The Breed soon caught the eye of cattlemen who saw and appreciated the Aussies tremendous potential working cattle.
The Australian Shepard has a reputation as a highly intelligent and versatile stock dog with a range of working styles.The ability to adapt to the situation makes it an excellent all around worker and always eager to please .
